I have these as well as a brown pair of very similar but not identical ones. (can't remember the model name.) They're just a classic styled, non-bulky loafer. So many today have that ridiculous...

ya know, i hear a lot of people always defending the detroit auto industry workers here in detroit saying that they really do care about their work and take pride in their work. however, day after day we are hearing of impending layoffs and such, and i think its getting to the point where no ones job is actually safe anymore. that has got to really hurt morale. and if we had proud and high morale workers during the 90's when US mfg's had terrible build quality and associated problems, imagine what will happen next.

Remember when the Japanese used to make cars out of old American steel (and rusted, at that) and everyone said that their car industry would never amount to anything? Well, thanks to smart designs, good customer service (well, better than the American car retailers, anyways), and top-notch build quality, they have.
