that stuff is terrible.. I have been to Ottawa and Montreal on business in the past and was told that I MUST have Tim Horton's coffee.. Some of the most foul, drab, dishwater I have ever tasted!! I think the double cream double sugar is to drown out the awful taste of the shitty coffee..

^ Agree. I'll take my office coffee instead over Tim's. Strangely, I think the only thing I've ever enjoyed from Tim's is the chili.

I think Tim horton's was popularized because at the time, the other options were even worse. There was no startbacks or other "fancy" places. Your options were McDonalds or Dunkin' Donuts. People just got used to it. I personally think that all coffee is vile.

Absolute crap. The food is worse.

Sometimes you're craving a steak, sometimes you're craving a Big Mac. To me, Tim's and coffee are two different things...I'm either craving one or the other, and when I am the other won't do.

LOL, we have class warfare alive and well in Canada it seems. I'm just a grown up, ex-hockey playing plebian, that grew up on double doubles. I'm betting you fancy folk don't think Swiss Chalet makes a fine chicken or that Harvey's is the best burger either.

Oh, and I can't tell you how many famous musicians I met in the old Tim Horton's, on Huron Church Road, in Windsor. It's a mile down the road from the Ambassador Bridge, and I can tell you in the 1980s and early 1990s, if someone big played in the Detroit area, they stopped at that Tim's with their tour buses. Either there or the McD's right at the food of the bridge.

Please. Far superior to the swill that DD puts out and beats the hell out of the burnt shit water served by Starbucks. High-end coffee? No. But better than any other chain.

Besides, immortalized by Mike Myers in WW as Stan Mikita's. Anyone put a love shout out to DD in a flick?

The thing about tim's coffee isn't that it's good; it's not. It's that they put crack in it or something.

That would explain the fanaticism. I've had it twice. Once because I was curious after all the comments, twice because I had no other option at the time since the local gas station's grimy coffee pot was down to the thick crusty swill on the bottom of the pot but there wasn't enough to fill a whole cup.
