And now I'm back in Connecticut. Things went kind of badly.

Arethusa-

Don't you know that the guy always finds the golden surfboard to ride that perfect wave into the sunset?

I guess dreams don't always go as planned, but that shouldn't keep you from dreaming.

Give it another shot some day. I think you may find some good vibrations.

Looks like a fine fit to me.

Anyone have a source (RDD doesn't list it, and the person who answered their phone did not want to be bothered to understand)? The OD ones are relatively widely available now--there are even a few camo versions on ebay--but I can't seem to find black.

Other options are a Michael J. Krell jacket or something like this Barney's house label unlined M65-style jacket, which is still >$100 on sale. I don't want to spend too much, as a black cotton jacket is a very supplementary piece for me, and won't get worn that often. Ack, maybe I'll just save my money.

That's funny, I just called them about sweaters. I bet it's the first time their phone has rung twice in an hour.

Alpha makes a black M65 that's about $70: http://www.armysurplusforless.com/pr...cfm?prodID=622

Thrice! I tried again, different guy said they still have the olive drab ones in stock, but no black. He also said they "overdyed them," but I have no idea what he was referring to.

I just discovered these jackets, and was thinking of buying one. However, i found some warnings that they run short. Does anyone have experience with the "long" versions, especially for the arms?
I'm about 6'2", jacket size 40L,and I thought about the 104 long version

Thanks!

I have one that is a medium i think(i can't find any tags) and the length and slimness are fine. I'm 6ft, and it's not too short, and mine isn't a long or something.
