Large California earthquake may be coming

The researchers conclude that the increased rate of tremors may indicate that stress is accumulating more rapidly than in the past along this segment of the San Andreas Fault, which is at risk of breaking like it did in 1857 to produce the great 7.8 magnitude Fort Tejon earthquake. Strong quakes have also occurred just to the northwest along the Parkfield segment of the San Andreas about every 20 to 30 years.

I have him on ignore, so it's moot. Besides, he's like SField but with FAIL tattooed in even larger letters across his face. If I want to read posts by a troubled tough guy I'll take kunk. I do start yelling at the radio whenever John Yoo is mentioned, but that's what any right-thinking American who loves our freedoms would do.

Mr. Yoo is my neighbor ... quite literally.  If anyone finds me to be rude during a visit to SF ... remember this fact about Mr. Yoo.  His proximity takes every last bit of civility I can muster these days.
