Stores should be able to price adjust with online prices.

i must say the flannels/tartans really suck this year compared to last season's. i mean, the earlier ones in the season were really nice... but now, purple tartans and sunwashed flannels? really?

I have a feeling it was you Robert that took it. -_-

Ha, no, but I think I saw the one you're talking about in the store. I almost grabbed it. But I have trouble spending money on ties since I don't wear them very often.

If you mean to debate removing the button, I would vote no. The button is a classic touch. You see this on this kind of sweater by many makers going way back.

For you x-smalls, the light grey chambray shirt popped back up on the site and its on sale for $90.

Just wanted to give J crew some praise for their customer service. I had returned some stuff and was waiting on a gift card when that 30% outerwear sale was on so I emailed them and asked if they could apply the discount later. They said they would. I just got the giftcard today and placed an order for the Millerain field jacket. They even took the 30% off the current sale price of $168 so it came down to 117.60 and gave me free shipping as they deemed it an exchange since my original order had outerwear in it. Now I'm just waiting for that red chambray to spend the rest on.

the Barbour Skyoil Bedale jacket (19895)... is there anything different about the fit/style of the Crew version? Is this the exact same model as the Barbour Classic Bedale in Olive (model A835) that's sold at plenty of other places?

I tried the J. Crew version on in a 36" and the fit was great... but there's much better deals for Barbour stuff at other places online. I just want to make sure the fit is the same.

+1

Does anybody know if the J Crew collaboration is slimmer or in any way different than the other Barbour Bedale? Has anyone tried on both?

Anyone have the British Millerain Jacket? I'm thinking about buying, hows the quality, sizing, and fit?

Called the J Crew store and confirmed that there is no difference in fit.

I initially got it in a small but it was too fitted for my liking. I'm mainly using this as a winter/cold weather jacket so I would probably be wearing multiple layers underneath. It was pulling at the shoulders and the chest so if I wore anything more than a shirt, I could barely move. I'm a 39.5" chest. I reordered in a medium.

Email customer service and ask for measurements. The measurements they gave me for a small were spot on. Keep in mind that the material is a little thicker and there is a flannel lining.

OK, you hosers, this is your official warning. You've turned this into a really boring thread. I don't care about your run-ins w/ customer service, inability to grab something while it's on sale, or trouble with the chest measurements of your teensy-weensy XXS shirts.

It's time for some real substantive discussion.
