^I do that frequently, only problem is I usually end up keeping the items I toss in to make the price minimum

Yes, I've never found any pants by any company that wasn't bigger than tagged.

Going into NYC soon, any experience with the Liquor store on 235 W Broadway or Mens Shop on 484? If you could only hit one, which would you choose? Thanks

Men's shop is bigger and has more clothes. Liquor Store looks cool. They're within walking distance of each other though.

Umm....Robert, are we going to discuss this?

I really hate when the stores and the website have different pricing due to sales.

The reason for that is that they are run by two different departments with two different set of sales goals. I mean, just take in-store sales: the sales people never know when sales begin nor when they will end, it's all sent down from corporate sans notice.

Now all sizes are gone in navy.

No more sitting on my ass when there's 25% off.

Here's the thing with buying merchandise on sale that can easily be returned to a store: it's worth buying it when it seems rather cheap, since if it goes down even lower in price you can return it to your local store and re-purchase it for less.

It's really irritating that one can find it via a search engine, but not by using the menus on the site. I'm trying to figure out whether this is just incompetence, or if J.Crew has a valid business reason.

I compare it to the flying squirrel effect of their sweaters/knits and the Incredible Hulk baggy sleeves and chalk it up to incompetence.

Can anyone tell me how their "Classic Fit" chinos are? In terms of quality, style and comfort. I'm hoping they are slim & straight through the leg.
