& I don't like the advice about buying a size you can't zipper. What's the point of having a jacket then? I find with a slightly heavy sweater, the jacket gets a little snug and zips up tightly.

I just got the utility jacket in that faded black in size medium. I love it!

I tried on the small before and I looked awsome init, but it is a little too short, but the shoulders fit nice. I could zip it up all the way but could look like a try-hard.. The medium is nice and slim especially in the arms. and not bagging whatsoever. and I'm super ocd about fit.
Dont you think its a really cool jacket?

You're asking me, the J. Crew fanatic? Yes, I think it's a really cool jacket. I wore it a lot last spring, tried to wear it as much as possible in the summer, and still wear it--though I've recently been using the colder weather to make the switch to my fatigue jacket.

I tried them on but didn't like the fit or level of comfort. They looked nice though.

I think they are very comfortable and fit very well. Look good too! If you're on the fence I'd suggest trying them for yourself before completely dismissing this footwear.

I like it; manly and rugged.

Doesn't look too warm though.

Yes, I also suggest giving them a try. They didn't work for me, but may suit you well. They look really nice.

i was mosying around j crew while on my break at work yesterday and i gave in. i bought a grey twill shirt that's basically eg's version without the quirky details, craftsmanship, better-grade material, etc.. and the plaid flannel shirt in the anchor grey colorway.

Is there anything good around Ontario Mills? How is the J.Crew outlet, Saks, Nordstrom Rack,...?
not really anything good around. my store (levi's) used to get clearanced out lvc's and levi's capital e line but since the citadel store opened up, we don't get those anymore. the polo factory store always has something there. last time i checked the clearance racks, i found some RRL chambrays, RRL oxfords, and purple label shirts. saks had fred perry a while ago, nothing else really. and nordstrom rack was just too unorganized for me to bother digging through. at the j crew outlet, they carry nice basics, merino sweaters, chinos, ties, oxford button-ups in medium and larger, and clearanced out polos from the retail stores. i picked up a grey twill shirt and a plaid flannel there the other day. i'm hoping that a shawl collar cardigan will show up there but i doubt it.
