Anyone know what makes the denim detergent special other than the name and price?

Aw, so it's called a sherpa jacket. I don't know what this means. It was just called a fleece jacket in the store. And what's a "third-piece jacket"?

And what is this trend of putting stuff in the stores before going on line with it. I bought this about a month ago!

The j. crew sherpa jacket

I'm not looking for a spandex peacoat, but something without excessive fabric is ideal. This J.Crew variety seemed quite full, even though I only looked at size small. I had my RL peacoat tailored a few weeks ago and it's so much more pleasant to wear.

I can see that. I tried on the "real" thing at a military clothing store a few weeks back. Talk about boxy! Even sizing down, it looked terrible. The material was crap too.

I know it's all the new hotness to hate on shawl collars, but anyone that was curious the heather wheat cashmere-wool shawl collar cardigan is back online.

I really wanted a heave knit cardigan for this fall/winter so I just ordered it. Get this though, I emailed about this item a week or two ago, then they called back (my phone was in my email signature) and they told me about an error in the website.

Then this morning I get an email saying my order for it was confirmed. They placed the order, for me, without talking to or confirming with me. So I called to see what the deal was, and they can't really figure it out (sure). Since it was an item I wanted, I ended up keeping the order (although I had to change the address). I've never heard of this happening to anyone.

Nice.

There was a summer linen shawl neck cardigan in white. I really liked that but it seemed to disappear fast. Like there in July, gone in August.

This color (above) is a nice change from the traditional navy. The cable is nice too.

I'm in this weird place, as the new-agers say, with my recent j. crew purchases. I feel like I'm all dressed up with no place to go--the weather is still too warm. This is the first time I've purchased stuff that isn't appropriate for the current wx and the wait is killing me. I'm almost ready to turn my a/c down to 40.

^ ditto. I teach three days a week now instead of one, and my appropriate S/S is getting run right through. So much J.Crew & EG that needs to be worn!

Yeh, my s/s is starting to feel really old. I've noticed generally that people who don't look forward to the change in seasons, especially summer to fall and winter, are not clothes horses. In fact, they resist it.

For some reason I thought that the peacoat retailed for a lot higher than just $500. Thought it was between $800-1000. on a separate note, what is this!? lol

Uh. Yeah. That's a little bizarre, ainnit. J. Crew trying to be edgy?

You can almost see it in the model's face: "Yeah, I know--but they PAY me to wear this shit."

i think i've got this aversion to buying their secret wash shirts full price now no matter how good they look because they always somehow end up on sale in a few months There really are some good looking ones this season though. jcrew f/w >>>>> s/s
