I like it--nice fit and fairly warm. Its Barbour for poor people.

i got it and didn't like it. that pic is an anomaly. i think i should have sized down on it but it really looks nothing like that pic.

i tried on my regular jcrew size and it was far too large so i sized down and it fits ok...

I own it in a small - great jacket. I used it a lot last winter and it proved surprisingly warm.

I went true to size and it worked out fine. I could have sized down, but it's not really designed to fit that slim.

size down on the oilcloth. i feel like i have to size down on so many brands that i wonder if it's still considered sizing down.

What's your chest size and height? I'm 6' with a chest of 40" and usually get medium shirts (still need to tailor a bit though). Not sure if I should get a small or medium. Thanks. And I second the classification of Barbour for poor people. Can't really justify dropping $400 for an International jacket when I can get this one for $170 after student discount.

Wonder if I could wear a small. I know the medium will be too big in the torso. I'm 5'9.5 and ~160, 40/31.5 Do you guys think the small will be too tight in the shoulders/armpits?

Small in the jacket fits me about perfect and I am 5'10, 155lb, 38R
post #1765 of 5101
Yeah that should be fine. One advantage of that stats. Most or all J.crew small seem to be a great fit for us lol.

yeah, it's nice I have to agree.

Probably will be a bit snug on me then. Maybe they'll have it next time I go and I can try it on. Didn't see it last time.

I am about a 39ish - and i wear a small, fits just right. You will be golden with the 6', I am about 5'9" and my only complaint is that the body of it is a bit long.
