No kidding. And for 240 bucks!? Ha.

And what about the fact that there's already a J. Crew thread?

I saw a thread for S/S but not for F/W. I might be wrong though. Either way, yeah its very expensive but Mr Freedom is some pretty official stuff. Japanese selvedge cotton, well constructed. Its going to be a bit dramatic but its nice to see Jcrew purchasing special runs of quality constructed pieces.

Can you go back and edit the title thread and rename this J. Crew F/W 09 or something like that? That would give this broader purpose and appeal.

That's the white chambray shirt from SS09. Kiya is just about sold out of them. The price is surprisingly right on par with MF. I would buy one if I could find a decent coupon code.

Of course. I just don't go to J. Crew for $200-plus shirts. Or anywhere for that matter! Yes, I'm cheap.

Nothing wrong with that. I'd consider it right now if I didn't spend $200 on jeans last night

I haven't seen much else in the way of a J. Crew f/w preview. Is there a link?

I'm sorry, I don't think that looks good. I'm sure the quality is great but...if I'm gonna buy a chambray shirt and I want it to get all worn and faded, why get a white one? As someone else said a bit overdone for my tastes.

I like white chambray and white workshirts. But this one does seem overdone and too pricey for me.

The convo over on sufu is going to be something like "ZOMG!1!!! I buy RIGHT NOW!" and then J Crew will be sold out of them.

Totally unrelated but dude, when I went to OAK a couple weeks ago in New York, the sales guy was wearing a Patrik Ervell chambray from a couple seasons ago...it was a very light denim, but there was some really subtle, nice looking fading around the neck/collar...it looked awesome. Made me want one pretty bad. There was also a photoshoot with a ton of denim and chambray in it for this seasons Vogue: Internationale. There was one heavier shirt with cut off sleeves, it was pretty goddamn cool. Will probably try that if I can find the right shirt.
