If the agreed upon definition of hipster includes not supporting any particular social or political cause, then the keffiyah is a clear sign of a hipster poser.
The sight of one of these faux hipsters in a keffiyah could make a much less politically correct person want to find out where he lives and bulldoze his house. (Just to see if he really gets the irony of being a hipster.)
