My new haircut - what should it be?

Ok, I'm a college student and live in the suburbs, so I'll be going to a Great Clips tomorrow for a haircut. Currently, my hair looks like this:




aka fucking horrible. When it's short:




Does anyone know any hairstyles that would look good on me, or anybody with a similar head I can look to for stylistic guidance? Thanks

The easiest thing to do would be to go to a reputable salon (see if any friends have recommendations on a specific stylist) and ask them these questions. Great Clips is what like $15 with a tip? I can get a nice haircut at a small salon here in Omaha for under $35 with a tip.

Take Michael's advice...a good haircut is worth the $$$. Luckily for me my sister owns a high end salon and cuts my hair free (I tip) but even in college a good haircut is worth $30-50.
