I'm really over this, dudes, but again, just to be clear, my comment to KOY was a dig at his age, in slightly exaggerated form, not a dig at his sexual preference.

can we get back to posting pictures of women, please?

Superego's comment was dickish in a banal way, but the people criticizing him are protesting a bit too much. There are no 'pure' aesthetics and a thread in which men discuss how they like women (not girls BTW) to dress is inherently objectifying. Almost no-one here has ever posted a picture of a woman which is not in some way produced by the patriarchal gaze (whether that's the fashion industry's cruel and controlling obsessions, narcissism, objectifying fantasies of all subcultural kinds or the more basic lusts of conventionally socialized heterosexual male desire). There is only one completely non-objectifying, feminist response to the question ' how would you like a girl to dress?' and that is 'I like women to dress in any way they want to, without having to conform to the demands of patriarchy' or alternatively, 'it's none of my business.' But that would be a somewhat shorter thread...

from dior resort. saw this on tumblr and thought the dress was pretty amazing (semi-nudity aside). kind of a distillation of everything i like about raf's womenswear.

Pretty sure I like Raf's repurposing?

The very first post, made by the person who wrote the title, contains a photo of a "boy" and a "girl" by most standards despite your fascistic ideas about labelling female images. We have posters under 18 and many models are not legally or otherwise considered adults. The rest of that tedious paragraph begs to be similarly picked apart clause by clause, but the thread deserves better.

I love the hardware, lots of others probably hate it, but it was even more impressive handling the pieces in person, and it's a nice counterpoint to the cliche of the soft.

Random (sorry if I'm reposting anything that I originally found in this thread):
