just curious how you put your specific 50/50 ration into practice.... does she always have to pass muster in your opinion?

I'm not creative enough to really work with any percentages. I just like those Claire Huxtable color schemes, those large earing and accessories Black woman wore in that era with preppy styled cloths. My woman is a dark skinned Southernish woman sheon care what I think half the time, much less worrying about passing muster. But I get her to go along most of the time.

haha... ok that's cool. I haven't heard a Claire Huxtable reference in a while but she certainly had a cool style and a serious sexuality about her (altho' must say I had the hots for Denise!)
my girl is very simple, understated, classic... she likes muted tones (lots of black, white, grey, beige, etc) and things that are not too busy. I'm pretty good at finding her nice gifts of these types of clothing she likes, but occasionally I'll see something with a great print or something funky that I know will be cool, but when she opens it has that "wtf" look on her face. invariably she'll end up loving it and wondering how the hell I knew she'd like something that she thinks she wouldn't like!! women are funny....

Ive always looked in this thread and thought....that just some crazy conceptual shit that covers up a woman's body as much as possible....that can't possibly be what you would like a girl to dress like
