Zodiac looks pretty good, and it's getting some good reviews.

I just Netflicked it -- it's good, of course, but not great. The characters don't come off as fully formed as in the previous Guest films, so neither the humor nor the pathos was really as satisfying as it could have been. Also much of the ensemble was wasted (i.e., "underused", not "stoned" -- though that's entirely possible too). Some good bits in the 'extras', though, particularly with a quite dishy ventriloquist babe who has a very small bit in the actual film.

Reno 911: Miami, Black Snake Moan, 300, Zodiac, blah, blah, blah...

c'mon guys. none of those movies can compare to "zoo".

I saw Black Snake Moan yesterday and really liked it. Samuel L. Jackson plays the blues! Christina Ricci's amazing rack! I smell an Oscar for Christina's breasts.

Sounds like wait-for-the-DVD-release situation. Just saw Margaret and David yesterday (our version of Siskel and Ebert) and have decided I should go see Bobby.

Just read Frank Miller's book. I'm adding "300" to my list (it's not released here yet). Anyone seen Hollywoodland? That seems quite interesting.

The new Will Ferrel movie coming out on the 30th. Blades of Glory. Looks funny.

Am hoping that Stompanato will be fun. Although I'm not sure about Catherine Zeta-Jones, as Lana Turner. Then again, Lana was brunette before her hair got dyed.

I must admit, Reno 911! is on the top of my list, followed by The Simpsons at a close second.
