I'm going to queue up Crocodile Dundee to stream on Netflix to double check.

Also, is it too late to give Mel Gibson back?

BTW you have to be invited to comment here.
The US can keep Paul Hogan and Mel Gibson and New Zealand can keep Russell Crowe.
Australians, I imagine, will hang on to Cate Blanchett, Rose Byrne, Simon Baker (who of course is Tasmanian, Australia's most important state as I understand it - it must be, it was where Errol Flynn was born) and Geoffrey Rush.
I don't believe Nicole Kidman is actually a real person.

I'm originally from Tasmania, been in Melbourne 30 years. Is Diavolo Australian? Maybe he is Tasmanian - they have their own devils there after all.

Can we have the Finn brothers back, Phar lap, and the mighty pavalova? You can keep Crowe

^^^^ They probably identify with New Zealand - the kiwis are to Australia what Canada is to the States - the retarded little brother.

If you're interested and available, send me a PM.
If you can't make it tomorrow but you're interested in coming along to a future lunch, let me know and I'll keep you informed.

Be sure to post your next GTG so others can join

Maybe, but there is a long way to go still, especially in the shoe department.

& I refuse to go anywhere outside the city circle

There are plenty of Sydneysiders and Melbournians here with plenty of intrest for a GTG.

I will be starting a new thread for a Syd GTG, can someone do the same for Melbourne and Brisband?

any more suggestions for a time and place would be greatly appreciated!

saw a guy in the supermarket yesterday, about 30, had what looked to be TAT pants, slim fit light blue button down and brown RMW's, and i instantly thought style forum, he had a monash neck chain (reveal your self mystery person!)

maybe it was a coincidence he was well dressed. You don't REALLY know SF until you start stalking the Foof or some other well dressed gentleman.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, although I've been lurking around for quite sometime. Great post, hello from Melbourne. I'd definitely be up for a GTG, beer whatever. Would be great to see you guys, and get some style tips. Another thing I'm curious to know is do any of you work in the fashion industry at all?? Although I'm picking up heaps of great tips and info here, I could use plenty of help putting it all together, a stylist maybe??

Just a thought, but is it possible to start an Australian Group within SF?

Could be useful in organizing social GTG, and a bit of a one stop shop?

haha agreed!, but its funny because i see many people at work, and this was the only guy who seems to follow Sf rules per-se, and if he isnt a member of sf or AAAC then hes a satorialist freak :S (in a good way)

I'm in Syd until Tue - I'll attempt to stalk any well dressed i-gents

Hi Gents,

I'm from Melb but living in Dubai until Nov 09 then will be back home. Maybe the Melb GTG will have already happened but I'll be keen to join if I'm back in time. Cheers.
