Email from one of the neighbors...

Thread Starter
This cracked me up. I've mentioned this woman before. Her place has to be worth a shitload, and she owns at least $20m of real estate in the city and surrounding areas. She also leaves communist newspapers out for the gardeners every Tuesday. She sent me this email for some reason, and it kind of reminded me of some of the "I have a shitty boss" threads. Well, I have a shitty neighbor living on the top floor. I've taken out the names of some things to protect the guilty.

Concerning the elevator light. I am sorry you hurt your knee *****, I have friends as well as my worker Will who ask if they should not turn off the elevator light when they get out. My friends from ***** and the ***** are used to having to turn off the lights in both of these public places because there are signs there telling them to do so. I am ashamed to tell them that we do not fully abide by saving energy here. I think we should consider utilizing a timer for the foyer, the back stairs and wherever else we can. I have one in the entrance of the ***** that was not costly to install and is working well. We also make an effort to use as little water as possible here (3 min.limit for showers), use the washing machine only once or twice a month, and even collect rain water to use for cleaning purposes. I think we are the only ones in the bldg. making this effort.
What a nut. I am positive she is the only one in the building making this effort.

Rainwater?

Good for her.

According to the latest report, the Fed gov is gonna tax the crap out of the wealthy (income over $200K/year) to pay for the health care reform, because all other proposals have failed.

I hope all her "wealth" gets taxed and then she can truly live like she live in the third world.

She's greener than you.

How do you suppose she became so green$$$? A rainwater heiress?

I had high hopes for this thread. I see no mention of police, noise complaints, loud sex, etc.. "UPS accidentally delivered me your shipment of sex toys" would have been a welcome addition as well. What communist newspapers do you have in SF? And why would she think that, of all people, the gardeners would be interested in them.

who has actually accidentally received sex toys?

If it were common, it wouldn't be thread worthy.

I know SF is one of the tenets of SF location hatred, but come on.

There's nothing wrong with collecting rainwater - I think that it's a good idea if you can install a tank and catchment apparatus. I do wonder, however, what she does with her clothes if she only does her laundry once or twice a month? Does she wear the same clothes over and over again, so as to conserve energy and water?

Are you seriously asking this on a clothes forum? I have plenty enough clothes that I wouldn't need to do my laundry more than twice a month if I wanted to, and I am pretty sure I am not alone here.
