What tie to wear with a baby blue gingham shirt? Help needed before tmw!

Just got a new brooks brother gingham shirt from the factory store. I don't have many ties to choose from.
The shirt looks exactly like this

Not my picture btw, but it's a baby blue gingham check pattern, no french cuffs. But it has button down collars.
I was thinking about this tie:

I have a cambridge tie similar to that, but from J Crew without the universtiy name on it... (just googled to find an image)
Other ties I have: lavender tie with medium darker lavender pokadots on it, a black skinny tie, a navy skinny tie, a silk red tie, and a silk lavender silk striped tie.
choices of blazer: 3 piece charcol grey blazer (non vented), and a 2 piece vented black blazer
I'm planning on wearing black waxed jeans (surface 2 air) and patent leather converse (black and white classic).
TIA

The easiest would be to stick to black, navy, or brown depending on the rest of your outfit.

I would do either the lavender or navy, with the grey suit. That shirt isn't appropriate for a black suit. And ties aren't appropriate for jeans (unless you really know what you're doing).

any other opinions?

Get a navy silk knit tie. It will look great with this and with most other shirts and jackets you have.

the cambridge tie!

I have a similar shirt that I wear a pink knit tie with.

Patent black or white Converse you say? Wearing patent Converse shoes with a blazer and tie is incredibly difficult to pull off (more than ties with jeans). To be honest, I would either switch the shoes to something like a pair of loafers or I would lose the tie and keep the rest of the outfit (definitely go with the grey blazer by the way). Another option would be to go with a silk knit tie, which is a more casual option.

Whoa, sorry if I'm a noob at this but how can something be knit and silk!?

And also:
for 3 piece blazers, I've seen people unbutton the top middle and only button the middle. Is this acceptable?

I'd wear a navy silk knit tie.

for a 3 button sportcoat, you can either button the top two or just the middle. Never button the bottom. and I agree with the above advice about either wearing different shoes, or losing the tie. If the above were my only options, I would probably go with the red silk.

from your choices, I'd get the navy skinny tie too

It's knitted from silk yarn, rather than woven from silk yarn. The texture is entirely different, the basic fibre is the same. Most knit ties are silk, the nice ones anyway.

Navy or Pink ties work well.
