This woman made the mistake that most women who sleep with a married man make. That is she thought she was better than Steve's wife, she wasn't, Steve was most likely just bored.
All of that very well could be.
But I wonder why Steve bought the car "in both their names"?
Did he plan to take it back when he ended the affair?
Or did he want control over the relationship or just wasn't thinking straight?
I did note that it was a 2007 Escalade. So McNair was smart enough to get a "demo", or a good deal on a used Escalade. I'm betting that he had good connections in the car business and he got a deal on the car. Only a fool would have paid full pop retail for a GF's "gift" car, and he wasn't a fool though it's sad that the 1 in a 1,000,000 tragedy happened to him.
Cheating on your wife and mother of your kids is bad. Getting killed over it ( and having the GF commit suicide ) is very, very, very bad!
