According to the show credits, he wears Brooks Brothers suits.

Did you see the tips that Anderson Cooper gave him about clothing? One was that you should always sit on the tail of your jacket, so that you don't get the "one-inch hunchback."

Now whenever I see people sitting down and being interviewed on TV, I always notice that detail.

I've seen Canali credited for both The Daily Show and The Cobert Report.

I've always seen BB on the Colbert Report (but a few times I haven't believed it) and Canali (now with Kenneth Cole, an odd match indeed) on Stewart.

But speaking of the Colbert Report, did anyone else catch that wonderful Oxxford suit (assuming it's not a bespoke copy of Oxxford's signature slightly unbalanced lapels) that the MSNBC guy was wearing last week? It was one of the nicest jackets I've seen on TV in a while.

I've also seen BB credited for Colbert and Canali for Stewart.

When Stewart hosted the Academy Awards, his "tuxedo" was
credited as being provided by Ralph Lauren.

Oh, god. Polo Tuxedos that are not MTM the right way (peak lapel) are simply horrible. Ralph really knows better than that...

In the movie Broadcast News (1987), Bill Hurt's character (the "handsome" newcaster) gave the Albert Brooks character (the "smart/talented" newscaster) the same tip.

Although I think the Colbert Report is funnier than the Daily Show, Jon Stewart is the better dresser on a day-to-day basis. His suits definitely fit better - Colbert's always seem to be too bulky in the shoulders. Also, the cuffs on Colbert's shirts are HUGE and absolutely swallow up his wrists, particularly when he wears French cuffs. I honestly hope that the shirts are RTW because if they aren't they're a horrible "advertisement" for Brooks MTM.

Isn't everything Brooks makes these days a horrible "˜advertisement' for BB? They are not even a shadow of their former self.

Question is - does Anderson Cooper know that, or did it just get passed on to him as 'lore'?
