8/31 PRICE DROP: NIB NWT Filson Field Satchel

Checking interest in a brand new, still in box Filson Field Satchel. Never used, it's only been out of the box a couple times -- pristine condition. Just like ordering direct from Filson.

The case is made of bridle leather, similar to a Swaine Adeney or Daines & Hathaway (superior to the normal belting leather that you get with other finer cases made in the US, like Schlesinger or Atlas). The color is a dark brown.

This is the type of case you'll pass down to your son or grandson. It looks great brand new and as you break it in it will look even better.

Asking $515 plus $15 shipping. That's $285 off the Filson price for an identical NIB product! US only.

Wow, nice.

I would also like to add that they have a lifetime warranty (under normal use), so if you have any issues, Filson will just replace it. I have had a couple wallets where the threading had come apart (back in 2000 or 2001), and I went into their store (being in Seattle) and showed it to them. No hesitation...replaced on the spot. Good luck with the sale. Very nice piece.

Anyone else interested in the Field Satchel?

I totally am interested but even at that price it's too high.

Look online and on ebay and you'll find that this is a pretty good deal for a high quality bag. For the record, I don't know the seller, just my thoughts.

Though I don't really want to sell it, I'll let it go for $550 plus exact shipping CONUS.

That's okay. I don't really want to buy it for $550.

You can *really* keep it.

Yeah, Filson's great with their warranty. I have a computer bag that is rugged as heck, but the leather strap in one tiny spot started to crack. I went in and the guy gave me one to replace the strap as well as an extra just in case I had any additional problems. Expensive, but very sweet gear.

I think I will buy that bag. But not for about a year, when I need a briefcase for work and am actually making a decent amount of money. In the meantime, I hope someone takes advantage of this thing because it's pretty awesome and at a reasonable price.

WTF is the point of this shit?

If I hadn't just spend $550 on two pairs of shoes on clearance from BB , then I would have bought it.

This Filson bag is simply awesome - a classic, and if anyone thinks that this is not a good deal on it they are out of their fucking chincy-ass minds.

+1.

It's a great bag for a great price - these are regularly listed on eBay for $700 to $800, so this is a bargain.
