my initial reply was going to be something like "are your problems REALLY that bad, I mean have you looked around at what a lot of other people are dealing with right now?" I can't remember much about you but usually from what you say on here, it would seem like you're in a good situation in life with multiple successes. Is it possible that you're really being irrational here, and you don't have any serious problems?

Things could always be worse. There is light at the end of the tunnel you just need to ride the train long enough to get there.

Do yourself a favor and dont take meds. Keep that shit out of your body.

This may be too simple, but how about getting less bills? Raf isn't cheap I understand

Of course, if all those fancy clothes are only .05% of your bills or something, then maybe cuts are needed elsewhere.

This may not apply to you at all, but back when I had money (I'm in college and inherited some money) I immediately started agonizing over which luxury good I was going to buy next, and I always felt that nothing I had was good enough, even when I had $4K watches, LV wallet, Ferragamo sneakers, etc. It was a vicious cycle of always wanting more, even though from the outside I looked like I had plenty. None of my friends had any of that stuff, so it actually made me kind of an outcast as well since that stuff was so foreign to them.

So what did I do? Sold all the watches, quit buying luxury goods, now I shop at inexpensive stores and only buy what is 'necessary' instead of buying for the sake of having new crap.

To sum it up, 'competing" in the materialism race made me unsatisfied, jealous, snobby, overextended, and greedy.

If none of that applies to you, sorry, but it's a thought

Hope you snap out of whatever rut you're in soon. Glad to hear you're not feeling like harming yourself in any way. That was my initial concern when I read the OP.

If you ever really want to feel sorry for yourself, try being me for a little while.

You are probably just an over-achiever. I always get stressed out about everything... i constantly feel like my life is total chaos. But really.... i am probably doing "better" than 99.9% of the population of the earth. I would tend to think you are in the same situation. And i dont mean specifically financially, i mean the entire spectrum of life. Being an over achiever can totally fuck up your perspective on life. Just be cool.... realize you hold yourself to some absolutely insane standards (i would assume) and just keep on moving ahead. I am sure that if you ask those around you (wife, children, family, friends, business associates) they would consider you to be a great success. It is all mental. All of your goals, responsibilities and ambitions will be realized if u simply keep working hard and dont lose your cool.

Work through it, man. No other way. If it's a whole bunch of different things, I found that planning out how I am going to deal with every single problem (plan, schedule, etc.) helps a lot.

We went through a tough spot in the last half of 1999. The thing to remember is you have to work your plan for a while, before you start to reap the benefits, so don't get impatient. The other thing was, to live well below our means. Forever and ever, amen.
