This has been on my mind for a while now, so I thought I'd throw this out there, as an interest check of sorts. I know of a store in a city near me that stocks a huge amount of really old clothing that is new but has been in storage for years and years. Ring-neck T-shirts, jean jackets, parkas, down vests, etc., a lot of it fitting quite small. All very That 70s Show-ish. I haven't been there in a couple of years but a friend tells me nothing has changed, and in fact, one of the staff (a bunch of old people) indicated they had another warehouse full. The weird thing is they don't really seem to understand that this is 2009... the signs in the window are hand-painted, ancient things, totally faded, and the staff gets super angry if you try anything on and then not buy it. I think they also sell Red Wing boots and real workwear (cover-alls, heavy wool socks, Wranglers), but I'm less interested in that stuff. Anyway, from that very rough description, I'm wondering if it would be worth my time to track out there, buy some stuff and see if anyone has any interest in it...

That sounds pretty par for the course as far as vintage stores go. I've been to a handful that have big big signs up reading 'no dress up', 'this display for serious buyers only', and the like.
If you had a little more info I might be interested in some scuffed up beat up last legs of life Red Wings.

Really?
How about a manufacturer list along with dated invoices for the stock to prove authenticity?
