Pretty nice, I drive a Cobra, but I have to admit the new Camaro SS is pretty sharp in person.

If it was I'll puke. Nothing infuriates me more than automatic muscle cars. (well, ok, v6 "muscle cars)

This along with the new challenger are steps in the right direction for US auto.

Im not a big fan of American Muscle cars (cept for a few Mopar Superbee/Bird) but that did sound quite nice. Especially compared to a lot of modern V8/6s that have that annoying empty tinny exhaust note. Seem to hear it a lot in trucks.

I have a Charger (see Avatar) and it has both an automatic and stick (Sportronic?). It also DOES NOT sound tinny. But I wish I'd gotten the Superbee.

Still an Auto, its just the shift solenoids are controlled electronically by the tap shifter.

I've only driven German cars in that last 20 years (with a Lexus or two thrown in -- what was I thinking). However I saw the new Camaro in person last weekend, and it was as sexy as a flirty hot blond. Can't explain it. Must have to do with growing up in the 60's.

I had a 2001 SS in HS

Closing my eyes the sound reminded me of the thunder of some classic American muscle cars. As to the derivative looks, they make me pine for the days of truly innovative and stunning American automotive design.
