Seems reasonable to me, i think they should have coordinated lines with every suit line, the Regent and fitz are slim, but there is nothing OTR that coordinates with it.
I wear a 15.5/33 as well but never purchased a BB slim fit shirt for that exact reason.
Of course you can, but that still doesn't explain why their current slim fit shirts are so damn blousy. I'd be curious to know what height/weight they make their 15.5/33 shirts for. Fwiw, I'm 5'7''/145 lbs and 15.5 isn't a fat neck by any means. On the other hand, someone who actually fills their slim fit or even worse, their reg fit, in that same size would probably be considered to have a disproportionately thin neck.
I don't want them any slimmer. They fit me well since they are slimmer than standard but not painted on. There are plenty of other makers for that.
I also have no issue with their current slim fits. I wear a 15/32 and am 5'9" and 165 lbs...even when I was 150/155 they weren't THAT baggy.
Well, to be fair, you're a pretty thin guy. Also, I think forum members typically like their shirts far tighter than necessary to be 'correct'. I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs., and I have my shirts made with a 15.75" collar and the slim-fit body normally matched with a 14.5" collar. The shirts fit well to me, but I'm sure most of you guys would say they're too blousy. My Matuozzo shirts are only slightly more fitted.
How do you know your 15.75'' slim fit shirts have the body of 14.5 collared shirts? Is this something you specified when ordering or did you figure it out by comparing your shirts to rtw offerings?
As we all know, the current Slim Fit line at Brooks Brothers is anything but slim...
That's how I ordered them. When you get fitted, they measure your neck to get your collar size, and then have you try on a bunch of mock shirts sized by collar to figure out the appropriate body to match.
M,
Perhaps that's because you are thicker than you think.
