A few years ago I was teaching a three-hour night class at one of the Penn State branch campuses. Half of the way through the class, one of my students tells me he has to leave. I asked him why. He said, as if it were the most natural and obvious reason in the world, that he had to get home in time to catch the season premiere of Two and a Half Men.

I was co-counsel on a rape case defense back in the day. The jury was out deliberating and it was getting late. The accused rapist's wife (who was fully supporting his innocence) asked if we thought the jury would be much longer because she had to get home to watch Friends.

You should have raped her to prove a point.

I don't get why every bar on the face of the planet was filled with a bunch of gorillas watching a football game on sunday night. Couldn't go anywhere without listening to people cheer and get rilled up.

This raises more questions about you than I was prepared for. Namely, does your girlfriend know you hate sex but would rape chicks willy-nilly?
Don't go to a sports bar? There are plenty of bars that have the game on but aren't where hardcore fans go to yell. I'm not in NYC, though, so YMMV.

Willy-nilly? He suggested rape for a very good reason, "to prove a point". We all know that rape is an awful awful thing and you should never rape a woman unless you have a very good reason, like if you want to have sex with a her but she wont let you.

I Just Don't Get This.

I'm trying to piece it together based on context clues. Beth has clearly done Harvey wrong. Looks like Harvey tried to introduce her to disco or funk (or something like that), but Beth preferred Ligeti and Cage. And also she drives an inexpensive car.
