Airline pricing. I'm traveling toward the end of the year for a wedding, and I've started to look at plane tickets. Tickets out of Atlanta seemed outrageous, so I checked a couple of the airports within an hour or two of my house to see how the prices compared. The other airports were 40% cheaper to get to the same destination, which would be perfectly sensible if they didn't all connect through Atlanta.
WTF? If I get on the plane in Atlanta, it will cost me hundreds more than if I drive to another city, get on a plane there, fly to Atlanta, and then get on the very same flight I was trying to book in the first place.
