I think you guys are missing the forest for the trees here. Attaching the Pringles can to the back of her hand was part of the deal. Now, in addition to the classy new nails, she has delicious potato chips everywhere she goes.

You and me both. I was trying to work it out in my head.

Being generous -

Materials: 4-5 dollars max (I'm assuming there is something special about the polish)

Time: Took 45 minutes to apply. The sparkly shit is placed on there individually.

Skill: I guess that the sparkly shit and the gradient shit is difficult to do? So paying premium for a skilled "nail artist"

Overhead: On some very expensive real estate

Regardless, it adds up to a rip off. They must be making a killing. Or they have tons of time between customers and need to charge an arm and a leg to stay afloat.

The worst thing is that we had just discussed the concept of "our money" vs "my money and her money." We are both trying to think of our purchases in these terms now (it's definitely slowed my roll with regards to tie purchases)...so that was our money being spent on that.

A lot of people think it's easy to spend money, yeah right tell that to Brewster, of whom had to try hard to spend the money.

There were specific circumstances that made it more difficult for Brewster than, for example, your typical red necked lottery winner.

I think you and I are in similar places with our respective significant others.... I feel you brotha. Don't worry, I'm sure it's just one of those things. My girl just dropped a G on some fucking crocodile speedy... can't live with 'em or without 'em! happy.gif

In England it is rumoured that nail salons are a favoured front through which organised crime like to launder their money.

When I pluck the individual hairs out of my eyebrows, I always have to pluck more from one than the other. What's up with that? They should be equal.

Well...

How long these things are taking to disappear????

I love the Pringles in the background...

Is it some cunning product placement?

I have attended many wedding receptions lately where they served a mixture of different breakfast cereals--such as Apple Jacks, Kix, Cookie Crisp, etc.--in the same bowl. Each wedding featured its own mixture of cereals so that they could produce a unique wedding reception experience for the guests. I'll tell you what, I don't get that at all.

This morning I actually did get something. I have no idea why I did not think of this sooner nor why my SF brethren did not. I have been continuously wondering who these slovenly people in ill kept minivans and cars are talking to on the cell phone all the time.

Other slovenly people in ill kept minivans and cars.

I don't understand why people post things on Facebook without verifying on google first. Cannot be that hard to make sure you're not an idiot
