here's another thing that i don't get

so these two guys have been waiting two weeks to meet with me but we couldn't get our schedules aligned. so we finally make it happen today. they have created this report where my group and my boss are the primary audience, and they want my feedback so that they could make the report the best possible for us.

the paraphrased conversation went like this:

me - oh, you should add the amount of money your system has saved the company here
them - no, we can't do that because we're not comfortable with the accuracy of those numbers
me - xxx (my boss) always asks about yy number. you should show that
them - oh, we considered that, but it's too much work to calculate it every month
me - are you going to present this at the staff meetings? because you know how it is with emails, no one reads those
them - well, we thought about that too, but it would be more efficient to just send it in email

so you wait two weeks to waste 30 minutes disregarding everything i said, so that you can send an inaccurate report that no one will read? oooh kay then

I don't get a local radio ad for Suntrup Kia. They are asking questions about cars to the three year old daughter of Craig Suntrup. Then, when the child has correctly answered all the questions, the narrator says "Answers so easy an three year old can answer them." How does that make it to air? Do they have no one editing this stuff?

I don't get these women. How do they justify living at home with their parents in their late twenties? I just don't get it. Grow up.

We do some radio stuff for buisness and I confirm they will let anything on the air if you are willing to pay.

You just can't ask them to sacrifice their accustomed standard of living while they're getting their career going. It's just not right. They really deserve to have nice food and nice booze and nice cars and nice clothes and live in a nice house while they slooooowly get up to a decent standard of income.



Even better are the ones who live "on their own" but have a huge stipend from mommy and daddy. God forbid anybody have to live a little less high on the hog while they get going in life. Fucking entitled bastards. It's not just girls though.

The worse ones I have met are the independent girls funded by Daddy...

Their lifestyle is heavily subsidied by their parents but they think they did earn every penny of it...

There is this butcher shop and kitchen store in one in my neighborhood. My girlfriend refuses to go to it alone to get meat because the hipster butchers that work there make her nervous and she feels insecure.

how could a butcher make anyone feel insecure about their image? they're covered in blood and filth!
