FWIW, I just re-read the threak from my first post on HH through to here. No one said anything about people with kids being lazy. In fact, outside of a Jessica Simpson type crack, the only mention I saw was in defense of a single mother with limited time.

I'd assume no, just like canned tuna does not. Just pop the lid and be all wholesome.

LOL I forgot to take offense to all that. Actually, one evening I called an ex-gf who's now a single mom (no don't go there) and she was making mac and cheese for dinner.

Her folks, OTOH, used to serve salad and milk and the Standard American Meal, when I'd eat with them. Only time I'd ever eat salad, ever, was when her folks were watching.

Yeah, the (gross) picture I posted was in jest. Those canned whole chickens do exist (I've seen them in the Asian supermarkets...), but I'm pretty sure that's not what most people are using.

I've bought pre-cooked chicken in a pouch (basically replace the can with a pouch) for backpacking before, but that's a different story.

People with kids aren't lazy, poor people are. They tend to have a lot of kids.

Yeah...I bought a box of Kraft last night (and actually, I don't mind Annie's...especially if you add some peas or something)...I'm pretty excited to eat it at some undetermined time in the future.

Yeah. As shameful as it is to admit, my wife and I will keep a couple of boxes around for comfort food snacks sometimes.

The regular noodles weren't on the clearance endcap that convinced me to buy it...so I have a box of spiderman shapes and a box of winter shapes.

And I have never bought canned chicken, but my friend made some pretty dope enchiladas once from some canned chicken breast that he shredded.

Soccer mom is a meaningless idiotic term.
