My guy is too small to be concerned about clothing that doesn't have "Lightnin' BaKeen" or Thomas the Train emblazoned on it, but I do try to dress him nicely when it's appropriate. When this happens, he usually coordinates with me but isn't matchy-matchy. My favorite so far were the seersucker short pants and polo he wore for his first Easter. It coordinated well with my seersucker pants and OCBD, but it wasn't an exact match.
That said, I can already see bits of my personality coming out. Music is the best example; it's hugely important in our household. I started playing guitar for him when he was a little baby, and, before he could even walk, he was doing stuff like strumming my guitar when I sat in front of him and played. He also picked up air fiddle at some point when he was about 15 months old. He loves Old Crow Medicine Show, and I'd goof off when we'd listen to it and pretend I was playing the fiddle parts. One day, I looked in the back seat, and he was sawing away at the air! Now he picks out fiddle parts and tells me about them. He's also pretty particular about what he likes, though that doesn't mean he's limited to a specific genre.
Oh, and he's a big Jimmy Buffett fan!
