Do you disagree that auctions can sometimes end at a time that one is unable to snipe them?

Sniping services bro.

I find myself wanting to put in the snipe manually sometimes, for emotional satisfaction I guess. I forget to bid on those approximately 70% of the time. Durrrr. shog[1].gif

No, that's a good point if you are willing to pay the fees associated with services like eSnipe. I know a few of them are free, but that's the only one I have experience with.

I thought the whole point of sniping tools was to automate the bidding process so that it doesn't matter when the auction finished. How do you use them?

I just realized that by "sniping" you simply mean waiting until the last seconds before submitting a bid, whether automatically or manually. I've always thought of it as using a tool to squeeze in a final bid with a tighter time margin than a human can generally manage.

I use Gixen. Never had a problem and it's free.

Really feeling low today... I can't quite put my finger on it.

I think I screwed over somebody that was using a sniping tool. I was in a bid war with some douche and at the last second my bidding made him overbid the "buy it now" price. I lost the auction, but I won the war.

My mom is going for a botox appointment today at 3pm. HOW CAN YOU GO OUT FOR BOTOX IN THE RAIN?!?!?!

Things I don't get: People that will wait for the entire line of people exiting one door instead of opening the other door. Are you really that fucking lazy that you can't open a door and get on with your day?
Yes. They are.

Here's a couple of scheduling things I don't get:

1) When I get an invite to a meeting the day before and the inviter gets twisted when I tell them I'm already booked.
2) Meetings after 4pm on a Friday
3) Directs that book their vacation first and then ask for the time off. That one I really do not get as you might have just forfeited a deposit or two.

I hardly ever listen to mainstream pop music, but I was subjected to it today. Seems like half the women singers on the radio today sound like the Chipmunks. I mean literally, they sound like the Chipmunks. What the hell is up with that?

It's not just pop music that is intolerable.

Listen to Steve Earle for a few days. Then turn on a country station. Red solo cup my ass.

I am normally an agreeable kind of person, but I can't lie, I am not going to turn on a country station on purpose. When I visit my mother I have to listen to that crap, and honest to God it puts me in a bad mood.
