Things you just don't get - Page 288

Here's another language-related thing I don't get: there are certain words that I strongly dislike and that I go out of my way not to use. Examples include syrup, panties, blouse, and cherish. I don't have any bad feelings about the things the words refer to, though. I know plenty of other people who also have words they strongly dislike. I don't have any idea why that is. (In my own internal monologue, about 90% of the time I replace syrup with shampoo. I don't do it on purpose, it just happens.)

I needed to mail something, but I could not find my postage stamps. This caused me to be very angry, partly because this happens to me every time I need to mail something. Still, I was angrier about it than seemed reasonable. Sometimes consuming sugary products helps improve a person's mood. I should have thought of that before becoming so unreasonably angry.

isn't that the essence of the ce thread?

dunno... I happen to like the words 'panties' and 'blouse'... I often use them to say "I really love that tingle whenever I wear remove your panties and blouse"

Thermal Vision Scope in Battlefield 3 has upped my game substantially.

I tried to tell you that via PM, but you would have none of it! When it comes to Battlefield 3, I know whereof I speak.

Something crystallized for me that has always bugged me: Edgar was born in 1901. Isn't it creepy a man over 100 years old starting dating Bella when she was 16 or so? Does no one see the problem with this?

I received no messages! As soon as I unlocked that sucker I went on a killing spree...

Lol. I'm saddened that I know what you're talking about. I'm even more saddened that I know it should be Edward and not Edgar.

I made a pedo joke regarding this exact thing at my girlfriend's family get-together. Nobody was impressed.

Have you been reading "Cracked" recently?

Also, what kind of 100+ year old wants to go to high school? Is he just casing teens so he can seduce/bang them? The whole issue is extremely sketchy.

I think the whole thing just comes down to the fact that this is just a very poorly conceived erotic romance novel for women. The whole vampire romance schtick screams of sadomasochistic fetishism to begin with, like most lifetime original movies...
