They're also not very good schools in general. Some of them are really bad, like 850 average SAT total.

I hear the marching band programs are excellent though.

These particular parents were simply crass and inconsiderate, especially the guy. I tried to understand the situation with the baby, but to brush your teeth in public, and then walk up and down the aisle while doing so demonstrates that you are a complete moron.

listening to the radio, I just don't understand why people think its a good idea to call a dj and ask for advise on how to fucking run their lives and for these dj's to think they're qualified to give advise... I mean, these people's qualifications for their jobs is: a. speak fluently and clearly, and b. have enough brain matter to press "play".

She seems to be another arty farty 'alternative' type - the type who you would expect to be at a Socialist Alternative rally. And I am mostly right. She joined the communist party in college... and has an arty farty 'partner' with a stupid beard.

Not just shape, there are different counters for different types of things as well and the counter may change depending on the actual number. Also the word for the number may change depending on the industry it is being used in.


For example,

1 animal ip-piki

2 animals ni-hiki

3 animals san-biki

4 animals yon-hiki

5 animals go-hiki

6 animals rop-piki

7 animals shichi-hiki (nana-hiki)

8 animals hap-piki

9 animals kyuu-hiki

10 animals jup-piki


Base form of some other counters

hon Long, cylindrical things

mai　 Flat things like paper

ko　general small objects

hai Liquid in containers

satsu　 Books

kai　The floor of a building
