Things you just don't get - Page 1545

There are two things also that I don't get society's obsession with: food, and sex. You really don't need either as there is booze.

Food + booze and booze + sex are awesome though.

I disagree. Have you ever ate and drank a lot then had sex. I feel like a massive, disgusting oaf.

That's probably because you've never had Imo's pizza.

You could be right!

Of those three, I actually think sex is at the top of my priority list

It involves me moving my body too much.

But only for 3 minutes. How lazy are you ?!?

IRL w HReine or as a single menz? Food is multiple times daily. Booze helps you forget why sex doesn't top the list anymore and can also be daily..but hangover..

Man that's tough!

So my mente medication costs me about $1,200 a year, post insurance. That's a considerable amount of money. These things have a long shelf-life so even if you buy one and don't need it the cost over time isn't that crazy especially considering it is something you need to maybe not die. What am I missing here besides these softies dying off due to unaffordable epi-pens leaving mankind to evolve with better genetics, Darwin style.

I think the issue is that the price has gone up $500 in the last four years or so, concurrent with the only competitors being eliminated from the market.  It's a mature product with no particular costs to recoup, so the increase seems hard to justify (I read that the profit margin for the manufacturer is in the range of $275/unit, which doesn't look great, either).  A one year shelf life doesn't seem super long to me, but what do I know?  And as you pointed out, it's a product that people use to not die.  That makes most folks sensitive to significant price increases.

Drinking a fair quantity then having sex is actually pretty awesome, IMO. It works like Viagra on me. Booth, as to moving, keep in mind there's two (or more) people involved; no one says you have to do all the moving.

As to the epipen...it's all about the chirrun. Please, think of them.

If everything was priced based on "cost of production" most things would be a lot cheaper. Maybe folks should move places where there aren't bees and think twice before biting into a peanut butter and jelly samich.

I don't remember said post, ain't even gonna "front." I will look for it straightaway.

In other "don't get" news, maybe I am just a simple man who is out of his depth so to speak but I have never been able to wrap my head around the notion of "sectional sofa." I mean I understand what it is but I don't understand what it would be used for it seems like a cumbersome apparatus. Also don't understand the cheese lounge like why would I want to sit in that doesn't seem ergonomical to the body.
