So many of my friends in academia cannot get it into their noggins that not all human communication is of the sort that happens in the seminar room there is such a thing as rhetoric. Some of my FB friends was like "How can Hillary say she believes in science look the nature of science, nay of scientificity as such, is a contested question in the literature that Hillary is just so irresponsible with her wordings." (I'm exaggerating just a little for effect, but honestly not by much.) Do my friends think Hillary should use her prime time speaking opportunity to do a literature review on competing understandings of the nature of science? Good Lord! Betimes I got embarrassment to me be associated with such cuckoo people.

My keetays have been trying to show off lately they've been using the "alternate names" of the baseball teams of MLB. Just now little Geneviève said "It looks like the Brew Crew might trade Lucroy to The Tribe!" I wonder if they think I will love them more if they show off their baseball knowledge? Or maybe they just like alternate names for things.

Perhaps you should dress them in some alternate jerseys. Did you see the brew crews tonight?

I loved those uniforms when they were first introduced. In retrospect, I don't like them quite as much. I think the logo on the hat is too busy.

I cant believe those uniforms only lasted 5 years. Btw, it sounds like they might completely transition into the modern ball in glove logo next year. Apparently it has been a huge hit (no pun) with everyone this year.

Snap stories of peeps at concerts.

Attention: no one wants to listen to and watch your grainy ass recordings of music concerts! Just enjoy the moment instead of focusing on recording dat shit smh.

Apparently you clicked on it and watched enough to be able to describe the contents... So.... Someone is watching it

Yah, but I immediately dismiss them by swiping down and starting another person's story.

I understand why they wanted to transition away from the ball and glove logo in 1994. At the time, the old logo really did seem corny and dated and out of step with the trend throughout MLB toward more traditional looks. But I think it's been clear for a really long time now that the fans identify with the ball and glove. When I get up to WI, I see that logo on hats and t-shirts much more than I see the new one. Also, the current set is one of the blandest in baseball.

Did they have a view on the Friars' trading of Matt Kemp?

Diderik said "I can't believe the Brown and Yellow are in selling mode maybe America's Team made them an offer they couldn't refute." (Diderik knows full well that the Padres don't wear brown and yellow as their regular uniforms, but he is stubborn and insists on referring to them as if they do. Also he is not good at idioms. Most cats aren't IME.)
