Inb4 -- well, I'm not even sure. But could be taken in a number of different directions, so I'm hedging my bets.

Dunno. If you're working on something special I would understand being proud of the amount of work going into the project. For instance I'm working on an exciting business trip that's forcing a lot of late night meetings. So hell yeah I don't mind working till 8 if it gets me 3 weeks abroad. But otherwise I do know people who talk about how busy they always are but are either lying (to make themselves appear to be hustling) or don't use their time wisely.

I always brag about how much time I put into my sermonds at youth group but then I realize I'm in the wrong to do so you see all the strengh I have to write the sermonds comes from the grace of the Lord the glory is His not mine. (I am Dutch Calvinist maybe other denominations think they can keep the glory to themselves for efforts.)

I often brag about working extra hours to defend retard pizza-parlour rapists, or making midget rape victims cry. It's the thing that gives my life meaning.

I don't like to brag or boast.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
But I like hot butter on my breakfast toast.

Okay so there was a big ole news story the other day about how the fans at Busch Stadium (home of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team) yelled racial ephelthets at Jason Heyward. Well now it looks like analysis of the audio han revealed no such ephelthets. You'd think that might be the end of the issue but no now I'm reading about "Well okay they didn't yell no ephelthets in St. Louis but it is the kind of thing that happens in certain venues of baseball and it *could* happen in St. Louis too so don't pat yourselves on the back." I'm like "Wha?"

Shouldn't it be called InBev stadium now?

Okay I know I am minorelty on this point, but what the hell is up with movies? I was just at a gathering of people everyone be talking about this movie and that movie and the other movie seemed like everyone had watched like 500 movies. How the hell do people find time to watch so many movies? And as they're watching them, don't they think "Man there are better ways I could be spending these hours."

It has been many years since I have seen a movie. I have no desire to see movies. (Same goes for TV shows, but that's another topic.)

I am glad people go to see movies, because I work for a company that makes movies and would prefer that the company stay in business. But I may be guilty of dat ole hippocratity because it's something I can rarely be bothered to do myself. I've probably averaged two theatrical movies a year for the last 4-5 years, and that includes movies I've gone to see with my daughter (which admittedly happens far less often now that she's a teenager and the last thing she wants is to be seen in public hanging out with one of her parents) and movies I saw on work-related outings.

Going to movies is something only a gay man would do.

I go to movies frequently and I'm about as un-queer as whatever-dollar bill you would say is the least gay denomination of dollar bill (probably a five).

Least gay bill is the $100.

Features well known womanizer and all around alpha badass Ben Franklin.
