I have a hard time picturing @L'Incandescent drinking a french/belgian saison.

True respect if he actually does.  One of my favorite brews is a rye saison.  And I still dont get all the IPA/hops hype.

I don't care for overly hoppy IPAs either.

Why drink beer when you can drink spirits?

I drink dat Boulevard Brewing Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale. Not sure if that qualifies me for respect or not. Irregardless long as I receive the Lord's grace I will have everthing I need (Dutch Calvinist view of things).

There was April Fool's joke on a rock and roll news website be said about how James Hetfield quit Metallica joined the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Bunch of commenters be like "This is stupid April Fool joke it is not believable that Hetfield would do such got to make more believable April Fool prankts."

He sings "Yeah" a lot in his songs. That is the basis of the joke. It's not the greatest joke in history, but it ain't too shabby either.

Can you keep non-deductible IRA money together with traditional IRA in the same account and investment? I just realized I cannot take any deduction on the 2015 contribution I made.

My understanding is that there is no income limit for traditional IRA contributions but there is a limit for the deduction. In contrast, Roth IRA has an income limit on the amount of contribution made and zero deduction.

Generally, is there anything I really need to correct? If I leave it as it it appears I will just be missing out on the deduction but at least my money will stay invested tax deferred.

Should have put it in a Roth IRA, right? I can still process a Roth conversion but that still does not clear away the initial IRA contribution made in 2015 since one follows the other. I do not think a recharacterization will do me any good as well.

edit:
I think I was just describing backdoor Roth conversion. Except I waited a year, so, there's going to be some gains and I need to complete an IRS form for non-deductible IRA, which I assume will acknowledge the Form 5498 the custodian sends to the IRS in April to May about the initial IRA contribution. What a pain in the ass. I should have contributed to a Roth from the beginning. ffffuuuu.gif

Ahh. Must be why it's a pain in the ass. Didn't know it was literal.

left class to get a coffee, I come back, and someone is sitting in my seat. Mind you my notebook is still at that seat, and my briefcase is next to it. I sit in the next seat and move my stuff over to my seat - he had no reaction. Weirdo.
