Here's a thing I've been seeing more and more lately. A person will take out a pair of glasses to read something, such as label on food product or text message received on phone. Then when the person is finished reading, she'll throw the glasses into a garbage bin. Then when she needs to read again, she will pull out another pair of glasses. And so on and so forth. Why would people treat glasses as disposable product like that? Their effectiveness should not be reduced at all after a single act of reading, right?
