You don't have a lawyer on retainer to talk to?

But then you'd have nothing to brag about on the interwebz!

With the current market downturn, I no longer meet the net worth criteria to have one on retainer. They dropped me.

He's still got The Benz that he parks in secluded areas after he self-drives. That's gotta be worth something, right?

If I won the lottery I'd probably try one of those Mangwichs heard lots of good things through the grapevine.

You raise a valid point. I would sign off the Netwebs.

Is it allowed to date a person who has the opposite sex version of your own name such a like Eric and Erica or Edward and Edwarda or Michael and Michelle or Matthew and Matthewa excedra? Or is that deemed as a symptom of Narcelcistic Personality? I know in the gay community you risk excommunication for same-name dating.

You also need to get matching clothes.

We dodged a bullet there!

I grew up as a twin did not like wearing matching clothes then and I certainly would not like wearing matching clothes now.

I am sure there are people who haven't been ruined by major jackpots (and not just people who give it all away immediately).

You just don't hear about them because (a) they aren't fun and (b) part of why they are successful is probably that they keep a low profile.

And I would like to think I could manage it...
I mean I already have more money than I really know what to do with on a day to day basis...but that when knowing what to do with it includes purchasing yachts, cars, and beach houses.

Maybe the easiest way to deal with shitty people coming out of the woodwork for money would be to dedicate a fund to it. Drop a few mil in an account and you can use that to "solve people's problems" without remorse. Once that's gone, you have hit a hard limit you can point to and say "sorry, uncle billy cleared out my family trust paying off the loan on his motorhome". They might not accept it, but it makes it easier for you to say no.

Too bad most states also require you to cash the ticket in where it was purchased (since each state lottery is technically independent).

I knew a couple who had an odd spelling of a common name.  They didn't wear matching clothes, but their relationship ended in a couple months, so who knows.

Well damn.  Can I claim it through a trust or something?

People claim they like buying a ticket because they can spend time imagining what they would do with the money.  I never buy tickets, but I still spend time imagining what I would do with the money and the best way to claim the prize.

Also, it looks like Delaware citizens sure are desperate to win big: the state gets about $370 net revenue per citizen from the lottery.  North Dakota gets $9.
