It's a tax scam. You don't get into heaven by donating your used underwear to the Salvation Army and making a tax deduction.
NHL arenas are mandated to be kept at 58 degrees. Most of the bigger arenas I've been to seem to feel warmer than that. The tiny ones, like Junior A or Minor hockey leagues are where you tend to freeze your ass off.
They definitely weren't NHL games. They were in Salt Lake City, so whatever Triple-A-type operation they have there, that's what I saw. It was sort of entertaining but I don't think I have a very good grasp of how hockey works, so it got old after a while.
I can understand that. I enjoy watching baseball, but the fans were predominately white trash, and in the arena it is super loud. I don't know - the part I really don't get is actually the whole nationalism type thing around it.

It was, but not bad. I was prepared though because I hate being cold.
