Apart from folks that have spouses, kids, nieces or nephews, I never understand all the gift giving around christmas. I have yet to buy anything. siblings are all relatively unattached and employed so don't need/want anything from me. Parents want us to get married and procreate ASAP which isn't happening so Dad get's cash for home improvement projects and mom is still stalling on telling me what she wants. I actually would kind of like to have a few presents to wrap but otherwise don't get all the time spent shopping or bitching about shopping.

It really is insanity what people go through every year when it comes to gift giving. It is utterly insane. People have completely missed the point about "giving".

My two SF secret santa gifts (DT and Beer swap) were probably the most interesting gifts I will give this year. I actually spent a fair amount of time digging through old posts, researching my gift options and then figuring out where I could buy them.

Luckily, my family is perennially trying to cut back on gift giving (especially now that there are no more small children), and many of them are much more into some nifty vintage/thrift shop find than some ****** generic trash gift.

My mom is getting a vintage copco cast iron skillet that I re-seasoned and refinished the wooden handle on (It's getting harder for her to move the normal 12" skillet around...this one is lighter, has a better handle, and has a helper handle on the opposite side). My dad is getting some new (and actually kind of fancy) bike pedals, mainly because I was already ordering a set for myself and the price was good.

"The Barbie image, created by artist bakalia, won a 2011 contest called 'Feeding Time 9.'"

More like, "Feeding, Times 9."

This gives unrealistic expectations to plus sized girls. A woman of this size would definitely have flab hanging over her elbows and knees and her ankles would be about double the size.

Boobs are a bit small.... also skin is too smooth.

I couldn't do beer swap (felony to receive alcohol in the mail in KY).
