Wigs

Why I can drink heavy amounts of whiskey and not puke as frequently when compared to tequila and vodka, which is why I usually don't drink these spirits, which may be the answer in some logical loop, but still.

Then I Googled and came across this one..

Wigs is number 1, but number 3 is. "Help people grow food. A company called SmartGrow uses imported human hair from China...." ...and there's a lot of surplus black hair in China. Number 5 is making clothes.

I walked past a hairdresser earlier today, I noticed that all the discarded black hair was neatly bagged and ready for some purpose.

Anything designed to be a collectible is kind of weird. My in-laws are into a bunch of that stupid shit, Lenox, Hummel figurines, Lladro statues, Hallmark everything. I think it's just their weird OCD way to justify spending money, it's ok if it has "collectible value" and could possible be resold at some point.

The whole "collection" thing is ridiculous when you really stop and think about it. If people are honest with themselves, most will admit that they are afflicted with the desire to accumulate or collect items which are substantially useless. The funny thing is that most will never think about it. They will just accumulate the junk. Then when they die their heirs will sell the whole group of figurines to another collector for 25% of what was originally paid for them.

It is a mindless, pointless, expensive activity.

One more thing, paraphrasing a quote I once read: "Anything which was made to be a collectible, isn't."

People who dick around the gym with no purpose or any desire to actually lift heavy things.

+1

I saw this guy in an extra tight shirt, baseball cap walking around the whole lifting section like a baws. It was ridiculous. I bet he just came there to remind everyone of his grandeur and magnifiscence. What a dickhead.

They can tell people--and maybe most importantly, themselves--that they put in 90 minutes at the gym. That's one possibility.

In general, I don't get why people want to tell me how many hours they worked on this or that. I don't care; tell me what you accomplished instead.
