Twitter is absolubely surreal to me..

Apart from Stephen Fry who is bipolar , I don't understand the rest of them doing it...

I get the whole 140 characters or less of trivial content part, I just don't understand the tagging and the responses. Do they have pics on there? I still don't get this part, I don't understand how Twitter can be so popular with so many words and so few pictures.

why everybody is suddenly the best friend of a person who died. You talked badly about them when they were alive, never hung out with them yet suddenly when they die you are in tears saying you miss the good times with the kid you hung out with twice.

Most people act in the manner that they think society approves of rather than the way they actually feel. It is a form of political correctness.



That makes me think of a conversation which a friend recounted to me years ago. All names changed. Mike was a 50 year old small town radio personality who was a cocky asshole. Bob was a friend of mine. Bill was a friend of Bob's who worked at the radio station.

Bill: We lost Mike yesterday.

Bob: That's no big loss. The guy is an asshole.

Awkward silence...

Bill: I mean Mike died yesterday.

Awkward silence..

Bill: But he pretty much was an asshole.

It must be fun being your wife/gf or children...

Those people I see in New York City with Great ******* Dane's. There are so many things wrong with this picture it is sickening.

They either:
1) charge the damn thing rent
2) have gigantic apartments
3) Don't care that the dog would probably be happier not in a dense city
4) just want hot chicks to stop, pet the thing and give you attention
5) like cleaning up poop bigger than their own in front of people
6) all of the above

It is actually a match made in heaven. My girlfriend has the same feelings on voicemails. My mother is a different story, she will call me let it ring 3 times hang up and keep doing that until I answer, or travel the 40 miles into the city to check on me.
