Thanks for keeping them company for me. I don't understand why they haven't call me yet.

With thir bespoke operations gone and a price hike are we seeing an aggressive marketing campaign in order?

Newt Gingrich would talk about God.

Of course, Nicolas de Gunzburg would likely patrnoize a different firm.

For those not familiar, here is an interesting little online anecodate on Nic de G: http://www.vernonstories.com/ (scroll down to the 'Vampyr' story - talks about a classic horror film, and gives a capsule bio of the baron). LK, RJ - care to post pictures of the elegant gent? And...a bit more on-topic - is there any evidence other than the dissolution of bespoke ops that EG is really changing its business model? They only added bespoke recently, and I think that they could reasonably discontinue it and raise prices without preparing for an ad campaign/takeover.

I talked to one of the brothers today. The've been quite busy and haven't been able to call everyone. Of course, he was very apologetic, charming, and polite, and will be posting here later this week the dates of the next trunk show.

I talked to Adam today as well. He told me that he thought he called me and left a message. No big deal.

Here's a photo of my burgundy Asquiths in the 888 last. The shoes are actually a bit redder.

They "count" as burgundy.
