FS: $3200 Asprey DB blue outerwear coat, Size Small

I bought this coat personally from the Asprey New York sale in January. It retails for $3200.

The coat is very versatile. The lighter blue lining that you can see in the picutres is extremely soft cotton/cashmere and is fully detachable. This lining is a signature Asprey fabric that Asprey even uses on some of their purses. Because the lining is removable, the coat truly offers a verstaile three season weight. The main fabric of the jacket seems to be waterproof, and I would be comfortable wearing the coat in all weathers.

The coat is a size small - U.S. size 36 or Italian 46. However, it is cut loosely and could easily be worn by anyone wearing a larger size - U.S. small or meduium. But just note that Asprey designed the look to be loose fitting. Measurements: Sleeves - 25 inches long; Chest: 46 inches; Total length of coat: 36.5 inches. The coat has several useful pockets, in and out, and the pockets are lined in the same soft fabric as the detachable lining, but in a rich burgundy.

The coat is brand new, never worn. Will sell for $399 to a Styleforum member.

Just wanted to throw in a recommendation for this coat. I saw them at the Asprey sale, and they are VERY nice. I nearly bought one myself, but it was sized a little bigger than I had hoped. I'm a slim 38R, with smaller shoulders, and it was just a little bulky for me. But the quality is great, and the value is fantastic. With the lining, you'd be okay wearing this through the winter, and without it, you're good for spring. And I have no idea if this influences your decision, but I'm fairly certain Z is not making money here, or at most just a teensy tiny amount.

Oh to have an extra $400 lying around... The coat is beautiful!

Will this fit a 42r?

Honestly, I bet it would. It would be more fitted than loose.

Shoulder to shoulder is 19.5 inches, if that helps.

What a shame it's not a long. I wear a 38L to 40L so this would fit through the shoulders and chest, but not the sleeves. It's a beautiful coat!!
