Err... well... I'm no anthropologist, and I think regardless the academic consensus is that the notion of race isn't relevant to science, but I think it was black from the time of the rise of Homo sapiens until the point where the forebears of the Egyptians mutated, lost a significant amount of pigmentation, and became established as a distinct group.

No, I was solely responding to your statement. But I think Nkrumah still gets decent reviews. Although I think he was a commie.

He wasn't a commie. They painted anyone who didn't want to be under the west's thumb a communist. Lumumba wasn't a commie but Mubutu said he was and he was dead shortly after. It's like calling Chavez a dictator eventhough he was voted in by a wide margin.

I don't think blacks are anymore or less corrupt than whites.

I personally find the guy rather interesting, but it took until more recently for me to change my views. I've had the opportunity to see several interviews involving him, and I was rather surprised to find him somewhat witty and funny.

As for Jesse Jackson(the other person, Whites feel compelled to name as our community leader), I can neither stand him, or know few Blacks who are fans as well.

are you crazy? i used to play basketball, i know tons about the african american community!
