Compared to The Happening.......The Strangers is like Gone With The Wind.

+1 The Happening is easily one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

One of the all-time classic stinkbombs, "The Oscar" is on TCM tonight.

Anything with overused GGI in it. These all blow. While unique in the formative years, it's such a bore now, and so obvious no matter how expensive or creative.

A real motion picture in the classic sense should use actual film and cameras, not computers.

I want full scale sets built, with real live extras. Not painted in dummy people and drawn structures.

There is no soul to the stuff coming out these days.
I can't decide whether I'm watching live action or a sophisticated cartoon anymore.

Most tiresome.
Lord of the Rings is a good and disappointing example.

Die Another Day. Was at a mate's house last night, watched up until the opening credits ... then decided to go home and sleep rather than watch the rest.

You should have waited another ten minutes or so, you missed the best part of the movie by far..

The grand sets with thousands of extras like they had in the old days aren't coming back - much more efficient to do it CG today. Just watched Spartacus the other day - they just don't make them like that anymore.

Wanted I punched myself in the face after viewing this.

What was Jackson supposed to do? Hire 200,000 extras for the battle of Pelennor Fields?

Just saw the latest Indiana Jones this past Friday. Yup, it blew. Stunts that defied logic and physics, over-use of terrible CGI (thanks Lucas, you didn't need to bring that Star Wars crap with you), bad writing, a sporadic plot, way too many referencs to previous Indy movies, and a big jumping of the shark. Yet another recent Spielberg movie that was a huge pile of poo. I guess he's happy counting his money and lost his passion and vision to directing. I'll never forgive him for ruining Kubrik's A.I. End rant.

Way too many monkeys. Always been suspicious of an overabundance of monkeys. I feel when there's a weak plot, there's a temptation to throw in monkeys.

Seriously? Even with Angelina Jolie?
