Earth - Earth 2 Interesting music fact: not only was Kurt Cobain a big Earth fan and the occasional collaborator, the gun he would eventually kill himself was a present from Dylan Carlson (Earth's front man).

I just bought Pig Destroyer's Natasha.

Big fan of Phantom Limb so I thought I'd check it out.

I'm a little disappointed at the lack of brutal riffage, but enjoyed that Pig Destroyer has been branching out a bit beyond the typical grindcore material.

I'll check it out - my tastes skew more towards the black/doom end but I've been know to enjoy some aggressive shit on occasion. Always been a bit of a Napalm Death head.

Yup, been a big Def Jux fan ever since high school. Though oddly enough I can't seem to listen to Aesop anymore. Probably because I overplayed it back in the day. Lustmord - The Dark Places of the Earth

I don't buy the whole sludge-rock, earth, sunn0)))) thing. You're just trying to convince yourself it's brilliant. It's the musical equivalent of Waiting for Godot.

^ Is that considered "hipster rock"? I don't know what they listen to.

Khanate - Things Viral So good. Between this and Prurient I don't need any other heavy music.
