I see guys in the gym all the time with the flavored water drinks like G2, Vitamin Water, Life Water etc. I stick to plain ol deer park. That does it for me. I do like Life Water out of the three though.

What about you guys, do you prefer the viatmin waters over regular water when working out?

not vitamin-laced water.

I prefer plain old electrolyte laced water a la Gatorade, but I use the generic Costco "sports drink" variety.

Powdered Gatorade is better than the regular stuff. Cheap, and no HFCS.

I use water as of right now, although when I was going through a bulking up phase I mixed powdered gatorade + protein powder to consume calories while I worked out, it tasted gross though. I finally fond a 3 to 1 carb to protein drink that was worth consuming while working out, it's called Accelerade (http://www.accelerade.com/) And if I want vitamins I go for Propel as most others have more calories then I would like and they are basically sugar water with a few vitamins added.

I buy the little single serving mixes of Propel fitness water. I mix it up in an old Snapple bottle (glass). 20 calories for 16oz.. I like the grape or lemon flavors, as light as they are, over the taste of plain ole water. I'll drink that right after exercising, and then water from my Brita pitcher when I need more.

I used to use Accelerade, it's was always on sale cheap at Target, but I haven't seen it in a while.

gatorade gets a bad rap from certain people because so many people drink it when they don't need it. if you're playing a sport, gatorade is great. if you're sitting in the office, gatorade is the total opposite.
